Originally from Canberra, Joel commenced ministry at Erina in 2013.  From his early teenage years Joel had a strong sense of calling into ministry and feels that the pastoral role best expresses who he is. He is an enthusiastic communicator, a collaborative leader, and loves to encourage people. Joel desires to lead and foster a loving church family where people feel welcomed and valued.  He thrives on seeing people grow into their Christ like potential. 

Joel completed his Bachelor of Ministry at Morling College and has been a pastor since 2006. Joel is married to Bron and they have three sons, Brendan, Andrew and Daniel. He enjoys cycling, AFL, guitar and is a keen runner with the Terrigal Trotters. 

Louisa moved to the Central Coast from Sydney at the end of 2023. Louisa has a heart to serve God’s people wherever they are in their walk with him. Our stories of God’s work in our lives are powerful witnesses within the church and beyond and it is a privilege to journey with people and embolden their voices. Louisa has a passion for seeing youth and young adults come to faith and grow in confidence in their own faith. She is excited to encourage young people in their walks with God and partnering with families in the discipleship of teens.

Louisa completed a Masters of Divinity at SMBC and has been a pastor since 2021. After 20 years worshipping God in an Anglican context, she is delighted to be serving God here at ECBC. Louisa is married to Simon and they have a Beaglier called Ambrose. Louisa loves drinking tea, spending time with family and friends, and watching anything on DisneyPlus.

Lisa has always had a special heart for children and a passion to support families. Through this position Lisa would like to walk beside the children and their families as they grown and develop in their faith. God has given Lisa the gifts of leadership, passion, and patience. She wants the whole church to love and nurture families. 

She and her team of leaders are committed to making Sunday morning Erina Kids a real highlight in every child’s week. She can see many other opportunities for outreach to families within the community. Lisa is married to Matthew and together they have two daughters, Jessica and Sophie. They have lived on the coast for 18 years and love it here. She enjoys family time, entertaining friends, and sewing.

Kate is ECBC's office administrator, assisting pastoral staff, ministry leaders and our church family in all kinds of church administration matters. She is married to Matt and they have two kids, Lucy and Sam. Kate loves a good book, a coffee and a quiet spot to enjoy them!
