Sunday - Erina Kids

Erina Kids is a place where children can learn, connect, grow, pray, and experience God in a safe place. We have dedicated lessons for children between the ages of 3 years to 12+.

Erina Kids runs during the 9:30am service throughout the term. It will be announced in the service when parents can take their children out to the Kids Church held in the preschool rooms. Parents will need to register and sign in their children.

Children under the age of 3 years are cared for by carers in our crèche during the school term. You are welcomed to take your child to crèche at the same time that Erina Kids is announced.

What are the benefits of Kids Shed?: to engage members of the community in a safe environment where children can be mentored, taught, and valued by others. Intergenerational relationships, male influences, learning woodworking skills, communication skills, problem solving, critical thinking, self-pride, and achievement in a non-competitive environment.

The bi-product is enhancing numeracy and literacy knowledge through hands on experiences.

What are the goals of Kids Shed?: To create a safe space where skills can be learnt and taught. Where friendships grow both generational and intergenerational.

To show children how to build something using wood and their own hands. Not only is an object built, so is their confidence in their own ability, and skill sets learnt.
