The Flock Youth
What is the Flock?
The Flock is our Friday night youth community here at Erina Community Baptist Church. Our hope is that the Flock is a fun, warm, welcoming and safe space for all young people in high school years 7-12, aged 12-18.
The Flock seeks to be a place where God’s grace is experienced as we encounter the person of Jesus. The Flock desires to see young people exploring faith for themselves and coming to a commitment to follow Christ. The Flock aims to grow young people in confidence in their own faith in Christ.
The Flock meets during school term on Friday nights between 6:30pm - 9:00pm at ECBC - 6 Carlton Road, Holgate.
Dinner is provided each week. Cost $5.
What happens on Friday Nights?
On a Friday Night we run a variety of different activities together. We start the night each week with dinner and community time. Then depending on the week there will be a mix of games, worship, a talk from the Bible, discussion groups, reflection, and creative spaces. Sometimes we will do bigger game nights, combined nights with other churches or larger events like camps and conferences. We want young people to feel at home as they gather together each week, learning and growing together in their love of Christ. The Flock is run by a great group of leaders, who have all completed Baptist Creating Safe Spaces Training and have a current WWCC.
